The 2015 Kids Choice Awards kicked off tonight and lets just say if you didnt bring an umbrella or a parka of some sort, well you were outta luck because a whole lotta people got slimed, including some of the KCA Winners!\r

The first award of the night was Favorite Movie Actress and what better way to start off the night than to crown miss Emma Stone the winner for her role in The Amazing Spider Man 2?! And dare I say it but I think she might have been the MOST excited person to be there – \r
\r
The next award presented at the KCAs tonight was Best Family TV Show, and who better to accept this award than the cast of Modern Family?! Oh, and we should mention, they were the first people of the night to get slimed even after Jesse Tyler Ferguson thanked the network for NOT sliming them… UMM, hashtag JYNXED.\r
\r
Up next we have favorite Kids TV show, and yeah, Im sure you all guessed this one way ahead of time. Were sad to say that this is their 4th and final season on air but you guys made this a night to always remember for the cast of Austin & Ally! Yeah, Ross Lynch, Laura Marano, Calum Worthy and Raini Rodriguez all took the stage together to thank everyone, especially their fans for the award. And on that note, while they were still on stage BOTH Ross and Laura were given the awards for favorite TV actor and actress! What an amazing night for Raura… the only thing missing is an onstage kiss to seal the deal… ugh in our dreams… \r

BUT I have to point out that while she was onstage, Laura thanked Big Machine Record Label… Whoa. Hold the phone. Thats Taylor Swifts record label. You guys, LAURA signed a record deal today and shes bout to kick off a singing career and I just wanted to give a MAJOR congrats to her. Thats a big win in itself right there!\r

And while were still on the subject of favorite TV shows, you guys voted for Dance Moms as your favorite reality show (which I am also a huge fan of), and The Voice as the favorite talent competition show. \r
\r
Going back to the movie categories, Ben Stiller won Favorite Movie Actor for his performance in Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Big Hero 6 won Favorite Animated Movie and The Hunger Games won big as Mockingjay – Part 1 took home the orange blimp, and BOTH Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence were crowned favorite male and female action star. And since Jen wasnt there to accept her blimp, Im thinkin Liam needed a huge bag for all their winnings…\r

And my personal favorite moment of the evening was when the award for Favorite Villain was given to Miss Maleficent herself, Angelina Jolie, and YES, she was present to accept the award and she had a very powerful message for every kid watching tonight. Take a look:\r

Shes seriously one of the greatest role models and one of the strongest women, so three cheers for Angelina, much much deserved!\r
\r
And, ok you guys, Im gonna kick off all the sensational singing categories on a major high note… haaa get it? High note? Were sure you are all pleased to hear that the lovely ladies of Fifth Harmony took home the orange blimp for Best New Music Artist, also following their music video premiere of “Worth It.” Yeah itll be seriously worth it to check that out! \r

Also in music, “Bang Bang” won the award for Song of the Year by the 3 beauty queens, Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. One Direction took home the award for Favorite Musical Group, see you guys, theyre still going to be winning awards left and right! Selena Gomez took home the blimp for Female Singer and of course the host of the KCAs Nick Jonas took home the award for Favorite Male Singer… oh, but not without taking home some özzyyyy green slime! \r

YİIKEŞ. And moving onto the next group of winners. Favorite cartoon was given to Nickelodeons own Spongebob Squarepants, which always seems to be a crowd-pleaser. Favorite book went to Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Minecraft took home the blimp for favorite addicting game.\r
\r
Oh, and we cant forget the fan-voted winners of the human slime car wash. You guys voted for the cast of the Thundermans, aka Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin to go through the slime wash of doom and they did it with such grace, I must add! \r
\r
