Flight of the Hippogriff point-of-view (POV) ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.\r

Flight of the Hippogriff is one of the three main rides at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, located in the Universal Orlando Resort theme park, Islands of Adventure. Same with the Dragon Challenge, Flight of the Hippogriff is a roller coaster ride but one more oriented for families . Just like what we saw in the movie version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, this ride will enable the participants to have a training flight with a Hippogriff.\r

The starting point of this ride is in front of Hagrids hut.\r
This ride will give the participants the experience of Care of Magical Creatures class.\r
Before the participants get on the ride, they have to learn how to properly approach the Hippogriff.\r
The ride originally operated as The Flying Unicorn\r

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter forms part of Universal Parks and Resorts Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando, Florida. It is one of seven themed areas within the park. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was officially announced on May 31, 2007, and after a two-and-a-half year construction period, the area officially opened to the public on June 18, 2010. The areas flagship attraction is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which exists within a re-creation of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It takes riders on a journey through Harry Potters wizarding world. Other attractions include Dragon Challenge, a pair of dueling roller coasters, and Flight of the Hippogriff, a family roller coaster. The area also features a re-creation of Hogsmeade which includes a full-sized model of the Hogwarts Express as well as many gift shops and restaurants from the series of Harry Potter books. These including Dervish and Banges, Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Zonkos Joke Shop, The Three Broomsticks and The Hogs Head.\r
