Hundreds assembled in Salt Lake City on Monday to protest a police shooting of an unarmed black teenager on Saturday night. 'Utah Against Police Brutality' organised the rally in partnership with Black Lives Matter. Both groups condemned the incident, which they said was racially-motivated. The victim of the shooting, 17-year-old Abdi Mohamed, remains in critical condition in hospital. He was arguing with a man while holding a broomstick when he was shot, according to eyewitnesses.
