Incredible footage has emerged of a 2-year-old boy falling out of the back of a van in China and toddling, unharmed, on a busy highway.
The toddler is lucky to be alive after the incident, which happened in the middle of a busy intersection in Suzhou, China.
The heart-stopping dashcam clip shows the boy hitting the tarmac as his oblivious grandfather drives away. The child then chases the silver van as another driver alerts the boy's grandfather, who comes back to pick him up.
In an interview on Sky News, Yang Defu, the boy's grandfather, said: "I was waiting at the red light. After passing the intersection a car chased after me and kept sounding the horn.
"The driver told me a kid fell out of my van. I looked back, parked my van aside, and went back to search for my grandson."
Yang said the boot had come loose after the van was rear-ended a few days earlier.
