George Harrison - Dream Away (Time Bandits)

Unforgettable ending credits from the classic 1981 fantasy film Time Bandits featuring the George Harrison song Dream Away from the original soundtrack. If youve never seen the film do yourself a favor and see it! A remastered version is available on Blu-Ray. A different variation of the song also appears on the 1982 George Harrison album Gone Troppo.\r
Director Terry Gilliam who also directed Monty Python and the Holy Grail, brought in the former member of The Beatles George Harrison as Executive Producer to help fund the film. He also lent his musical talent and creative input. \r
Former members of Monty Pythons Flying Circus - Michael Palin and John Cleese - also had prominent roles in the film and lent their comedic talents which gives the film a bit of dry British humour. The role of Fidgit was played by Kenny Baker who was well known for playing R2-D2 in the Star Wars films.\r
Time Bandits has influenced dozens of filmmakers over the years who often borrow scenes or concepts and incorporate them into their works. Most recently the end credits appeared on The Simpsons episode LEGO (Brick Like Me) season 25. More info is available on imdb . com. \r
