Elton John Performs Live At Free Surprise Sunset Strip Concert (With A Surprise Guest!)

Elton John performed a free concert at noon Saturday at the site of the old Tower Records store on Sunset Boulevard.
The singer made the announcement Friday night and again Saturday morning on his official Twitter account.
The 68-year-old pop star released his latest album earlier this month, titled "Wonderful Crazy Night."
Speaking of surprises, John was joined on stage by Lady Gaga, close friend and godmother to the singer's two children.
The legendary performer told lots of stories, like performing for the first time in Los Angeles 46 years ago.
John said he played the concert in West Hollywood to thank the city for its long-standing support of his Elton John AIDS Foundation and his post-Oscars party.
