Mysterious Radio Burst Tracked To Distant Galaxy

An FRB or fast radio burst occurred on April 18th of last year, and, based on the collected data, scientists were able to determine that it came from an elliptical galaxy around 6 billion light years away.

The cosmic activity known as fast radio bursts, or FRBs, have remained a mystery to astronomers, but a recent study by an international team of researchers provides some startling insights into the phenomenon.
