Orangutan Who Kept Arms Wrapped Around Body Makes Remarkable Recovery

International Animal Rescue, or IAR, is reporting on its Facebook page that Joss, the baby orangutan who was in particularly poor condition when she was rescued last month, has made promising progress in her recovery.

A distressing orangutan rescue situation appears to be resulting in a positive outcome. 
International Animal Rescue, or IAR, recently posted to its Facebook page that Joss, the baby orangutan who was found in poor condition last month, is making good progress.
When she was rescued in West Borneo on January 5th, her arms were wrapped tightly around her body, and she would throw herself to the ground as a coping mechanism for her distress.
