BRIDGEWATER, MASSACHUSETTS — Bridgewater Police Department arrested a total of 41 people early Sunday, Feb. 21, after officers responded to a loud, out of control house party and witnessed people drinking and breaking numerous items inside a residence.

The house located at 141 Maple Ave., near Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, was condemned following the party. The home was rented by two 21-year-olds, Juan Perez and Andrew Juckett.

Around 1 a.m., police received a 911 call reporting a disturbance at the home. Upon arrival, officers reported seeing several college-aged individuals outside of the home in the front and rear of the house.
Responding officers could also hear yelling and glass breaking from inside of the home. When officers were able to get inside, they found a large amount of alcohol and were able to identify many of the party goers to be under 21 years of age. The partiers also began fleeing the scene, some climbing through windows on the first floor.

Bridgewater Police requested assistance from Bridgewater State University Police. The Bridgewater Inspectional Services and the Bridgewater Fire Department were also requested to the home.

Police arrested 41 party goers with various charges including: being a minor in possession of alcohol, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct. The two renters of the home, Perez and Juckett, were arrested for keeping a disorderly house, disturbing the peace, furnishing alcohol to persons under 21 and obstruction of justice.

The home was officially condemned the following morning due to overcrowding, lack of detectors, structural issues and a variety of fire hazards. No one is allowed into the home until the issues are corrected. Town records list Brian Morgan and Nicholas as owners of the property.
