Migrant crisis: Four out of five Greek 'hotspots' ready to open
  • 8 years ago
Almost 77,000 migrants have arrived on Greek shores so far this year. There has been severe pressure on Greece to do more to curtail the influx, and the country even risks being kicked out of Europe's free movement Shengen zone. However, four new migrant processing centres known as "hotspots" are now ready to open. FRANCE 24 travelled to the island of Leros as the work was being completed.
