Human Barbie blames her looks for ruining her love life

SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND — A British human Barbie doll says her style makes it hard to find a boyfriend who doesn't just like her for her appearance, the Daily Mirror reported.
Hannah Gregory, 22, is a student at Sheffield University. She embraces the human Barbie style, and has amassed thousands of followers on Instagram.
She enjoys most of the attention she gets in public, but she told the Daily Mirror: "It's hard to find a boyfriend too. Often, guys will become infatuated with my appearance and tell me how much they like me."
"But they're not interested in getting to know my personality — they just see me as a doll."
Between doing her makeup and choosing what clothes she's going to wear, it takes her around 90 minutes to get ready every morning.
When she studied abroad in South Korea, she says people would line up to take pictures with her.
Gregory also told the Daily Mirror: "Boys who I've never really spoken to before will suddenly approach me and tell me how much they like me and want to be with me."
"But they don't even know who I am inside — they just like the way I look. Guys see me as a doll and immediately sexualize me."
Maybe someday she'll be able to find her own human Ken doll.
