BULENT SEZGIN: The US previously announced that they had stopped supplying weapons to the YPG in the northern Syria. However, it is reported that the USA is currently preparing to build a military base in the region. The allegations were originally made by the Head of Relations of the Defense Committee of Jizira Canton, Nasr Hadji Mansour. In his statement on December 1st, Mansour claimed that a special US unit of fifty had been deployed to the area to begin construction building an American military base and an airport there.
