Sindh High Court outlawed the controversial amendment made in Sindh Local Govt Act for voting of District Chairman, Vice Chairman and Mayor through Show of Hand. In its decision while hearing an application of MQM and other opposition parties the court nullified the recent amendment and order elections for Mayor and Chairman through secret balloting.
