She took her special cartoon Minions blanket, but left behind life-saving medication. After a massive three-day search, her parents’ worst nightmare became a reality: Nicole’s body was discovered by the side of a road in North Carolina. Police arrested two unlikely suspects, 18-year-old David Eisenhauer and 19-year-old Natalie Keepers, both Virginia Tech freshmen. Eisenhauer, a collegiate athlete, and Keepers, a former NASA intern, have both been accused of plotting Nicole’s murder and luring her to her death.
