ABOUT CRAIG & GAIL DOCKSTEADER

Craig & Gail Docksteader are Canadian worship leaders who live in Ottawa. They do not have an ‘official’ ministry but they have led worship in several congregations, such as the World Revival Church (Kansas City, MO, USA) and the Heart of Worship 2012 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Craig currently works as a Legislative Assistant to a member of the Canadian Parliament.

In the 90’s, during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit throughout Canada, they were part of a small prairie church, when Craig wrote the song “I see a Warrior”. During a conference in their church, where John Arnott was the guest speaker, he played that song during the worship service. At the end of the service John Arnott told him that the words of his song described exactly what he had seen in the spirit, after which he invited Craig & Gail to come to Toronto to record the song for a new CD they were publishing. As they went there and tried to record the song, in the small amount of time they had, it didn’t really work out and they didn’t manage to create a good recording. Then they were asked if someone else could record the song, since they did wanted to include it on the album. Eventually the song was recorded by Robert Critchley and published on the album. The album was published under the title “Warrior Bride” and was distributed over the whole world. The song was sung in many different nations and languages throughout the years.

Throughout the years they didn’t do anything publicly and were hard to trace, but at the end of 2011 we finally were able to figure out who the people behind that song are and we invited them to our Heart of Worship conference, which took place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The recordings that were made during that conference were later used to publish the CD “Heart of Worship LIVE”, which is now available on Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby, including the song “I see a Warrior”.
