Jerome Bettis can relate to Peyton Manning’s last rodeo

Pittsburgh Steelers fans all remember Super Bowl XL.
It was the culmination of a dream season, and a storybook ending for one of the team’s stars.
Running back Jerome Bettis hadn’t already made it known that this was to be his final season but many assumed it would be.
Jarrett Bell of USA Today spoke with The Bus, and talked to him about his final rodeo compared to the situation Manning is facing.
Bettis told Bell that he “can relate to Peyton” and he knows “what he’s thinking.”
Bettis also offered some insight on how the game went.
It was clear that as much as he wanted to go out on top, he didn’t want that to be a focus for his teammates.
The focus had to be on winning the game whether he was coming back or not.
That Super Bowl was the perfect finish to a perfect career.
