Vetrimaaran first began his ‘Vada Chennai’ almost four years back with Simbu in the lead and Andrea as a prostitute. After much delays Simbu opted out and now the film is being planned as a two part series with Dhanush. Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
