Somali Jet Forced to Land After Onboard Explosion

A Somali Daalo Airlines jet was forced to return to Mogadishu airport shortly after takeoff on Tuesday, February 2, after an explosion left a hole in the fuselage. The plane was carrying 74 passengers, the airline said, and all were evacuated safely.The flight, which originated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was bound for Djibouti when the incident took place. Officials said two people were injured.
