Cate Blanchett has lost her cool when an Australian TV interview veered off topic. The actress came prepared to answer questions about her new Disney film Cinderella when she was interviewed on Australian TV show The Project on Wednesday evening, but was faced with an unexpected line of questioning.
The Oscar-winning actress was visibly flabbergasted by Channel Ten journalist Jonathan Hylas increasingly eccentric queries in the cringe-inducing junket, and played along with it as best she could. Starting the interview in an unconventional fashion, Jonathan suggested he should have brought a few beers along for them to drink during their chat. I do not drink beers, Cate retorted, feigning outrage at the cheeky comment.
Trying to recover from her blunt comeback, he then asked: What should I have brought with me that would have helped break the ice here?, to which she suggested a potato vodka made in Devon.
