Khagendra Lamichhane is active in Nepali theatre since 1999. He has participated in a number of national and international Theater festivals as an author, director and actor. His two plays “Hajurbaa ko Katha” and “Peedageet” has been staged in Nepal and abroad. Furthermore, he has directed a couple of Nepali plays “Paniphoto” and “Atal Bahadurko Atanka”, for Arohan, Gurukul as a guest director. “Paniphoto” and “Katha Natak” the collections of Nepali plays written by Khagendra. He has worked for BBC Media Action, Nepal under various capacities. At present he is involved with Shatkon Theater and Films Pvt. Ltd. as a Creative Director & Writer.
Khagendra Lamichhane made a movie debut in Badhshala. In 2014, he played a lead role in Nishal Basnet’s Talakjung Vs Tulke and his performance was critically acclaimed across the country. Now his awaiting Movie Pashupati Prasad is going to Released on Jan 29.
