Court Rules On Dad Arrested For Taking Teen Daughter’s Phone

A Texas court has recently ruled that there is insufficient evidence to proceed with a case where a father was arrested and accused of misdemeanor theft after refusing to return his daughter’s phone; he had taken the device away as punishment for a rude text.

It’s fairly common to punish a misbehaving child by taking belongings away, but for one Texas dad, it got him arrested.
