BASED AINZ VS SHALLTEAR CONCLUSION.THE OVERLORD HYPE COMES TO AN END (and with it Summer Season) - DAT CLIFFHANGER END DOESNT MEAN S*** DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH OR SEASON 2 (IF NGNL IS ANY INDICATION.I HAVE LITTLE FAITH). Season 2 isnt impossible (I just dont believe in it) - READ THE LIGHT NOVELS *FROM VOLUME 1*\r

HALF OF ME CANT DENY THAT THIS EPISODE WAS HYPE AND OVERALL AINZ VS SHALLTEAR WENT HARD.BUT.THE OTHER HALF OF ME CANT GET OVER A LINGERING DISAPPOINTMENT.ESPECIALLY WITH THAT ENDING!!! - THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST STRAIGHT GRABBED A NARRATOR FOR CRY OF THE BANSHEE SCENE AND PUSHED THE ED SCENE BACK\r
AND WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE I HEAR ABOUT THIS BEING THE FINALE (DEF A MISTAKE)\r
Certain elements of exposition were again left out (Eclipse Class, Einhurjar discription.AND OP CRY OF THE BANSHEE), mainly due to the pace and the nature of translating the fight from the page to the screen and Ainzs thoughts arent fully expressed (frustration at at misteps and anger at Pereronchino). Ultimately this bout was a grander skeptical in my head.BUT MADHOUSE STILL WENT IN and I am satisfied overall.\r

DAMN.DAT FINAL SCENE THO.BEST GIRL ALBEDOS PLEA = GETTING REKT BY FEELS.The dialogue between Albedo & Ainz was adapted so well (AND BUILDS MAD HYPE FOR THE INCOMING BATTLE!) - BASED PANDORAS ACTOR MAKES HIS APPEARANCE (VA is on point.COMEDY = 10/10) - AINZ JUST STRAIGHT BOSS MODE WITH THIS EPISODE (mercilessly slaughtering those adventurers and taking their bodies back to base) - Overall this adaptation is still on point.although the last two episodes have glossed over some things that leave me salty.WHERE WAS MY SHIZU THIS EPISODE!? (guess I shouldnt be greedy when shes not even in my top 3 best girls of the series tho)\r

SOLUTION W/ THOSE FIENDISH GRINS FTW - SHALTEAR REKTS EVERYONE! - EXPOSING DUDES OUT HERE WITH HER PINKY - BLOOD FRENZY SAUCE WAS TOO REAL (although censorship was a bit heavier this episode.which I should have expected) - BLOODY VALKYRIE HYPU!!!!! .. BUT..The pacing for this episode was a bit too fast, and they glossed over some interesting scenees and key exposition. BRAIN JUST LOOKED LIKE A CLOWN OUT THERE\r

His presence got me so excited that my underwear has gone through a bit of a crisis - Shalltear is amazing.but..ALBEDO FTMFW! - I def see the yandere/best girl/waifu wars between the two to be of epic proportions - ALBEDO WILL JOIN THE GRAND QUEENS OF YANDERE (I LOVE HER SO MUCH RIGHT NOW)\r

Seeing Momonga (Ainz) continue to analyze his situation and make preparations to maintain his position in this new world is so refreshing. this series is definitely showcases what makes it unique with the exposition provided in these first two episodes. I think the pacing is about to pick up heavily\r

OVERLORD HAS POTENTIAL! (Madhouse is def gonna go in and the pacing will likely be fast but the LNs are apparently beast so I have high hopes) - like the fact that Momonga is seemingly the only player character stuck in the world.this + the style fo the world gives this series its niche\r

Summary:\r
The story begins with Yggdrasil, a popular online game which is quietly shut down one day; however, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as the most powerful wizard. The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) begining to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.
