Oscar nominees 'Carol,' and 'Danish Girl' up for GLAAD Media Awards

Oscar-nominated pictures Carol and The Danish Girl are among the more than 100 nominees for the GLAAD Media Awards, the annual ceremony to honor movies, TV, journalism and music deemed inclusive for LGBT people by the leading gay-rights media advocacy organization.
The nominees for outstanding film in wide release, besides Oscar contenders Carol and The Danish Girl, include Dope, Freeheld and Grandma.
The 10 outstanding TV drama nominees include Fox's Empire, ABC's Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder and Nashville, and BBC America's Orphan Black.
The 10 outstanding TV comedy series nominees include Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, ABC's Modern Family , Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, Amazon Instant Video's Transparent, and PBS's Vicious.
