One of the most popular Marvel mutants and anti-heroes ever, DEADPOOL is the Merc(enary) with a mouth Wade Wilson. Armed with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor which routinely breaks the fourth wall, Deadpool seeks vengeance on the man who ruined his life.

Deadpool is produced by 20th Century Fox, so is not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His adventures, on the other hand, are set in the same shared universe with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
