I've made these DIY Scratch Made LED Wall Lights a few years ago using and recycling old phone chargers as 5v power supplies for the LEDs,they're solely made out of scrap chipboard and electronic parts.
I covered them with Cherry Tree Veneer and they turned out fantastic!

If i had to tell a price for the non recycled materials i'd say 3$, that's how much it costed!
