The new space race: This time it's companies against countries

With new technology and reusable rockets, going into outer space is getting cheaper. Today it's no longer just countries but rather companies that are elbowing their way into the lucrative space market. Self-made billionaires are ratcheting up world firsts and it’s now a private company that is carrying cargo to the International Space Station for the agency that first put a man on the moon.
NASA and its European, Russian and Chinese counterparts are all under pressure to find cheaper ways of staying in the space race. So who are the players still competing? How important is it to stay in the game?
A programme presented by Eve Irvine
Produced by Isabelle Romero and Jean-Christophe Felt
