Virgin skier nearly does the splits in first attempt

A funny video has emerged of a first-time downhill skier trying and failing to go in a straight line.

The footage, captured in Sweden on Wednesday, shows the man nearly hitting a child, almost doing the splits and generally having a hard time before finally reaching his filming colleague.

The unfortunate skier wrote online: "was not in control and took a long path to reach him and on my way was suppose to hit a kid but decided to fall down before i hit the kid."
