Hubble Reveals A 'Diamond-Like' Cluster Of Stars 8,000 Light-Years Away

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope recently returned a dazzling image of stars concentrated in the Carina Nebula some 8,000 light-years away.

A recent image from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope shows a dazzling display of stars clustered 8,000 light-years away in the Carina Nebula.
In the center left of the nearly-glistening image, sits a small silhouetted shape that looks almost like an upside down balloon, which, according to NASA, is "....a nodule of gas laced with dust."
The cluster itself is called Trumpler 14 and, at an age of just 500,000-years-old, is basically a galactic infant containing some of the most luminous stars in the Milky Way.
