Two members of the animal services unit with the Martin County Sheriff's Office in Florida recently saved a Pelican in distress.

Officers Heather Belknap and Kimberly Guile were alerted about a sick pelican in a local park.
Belknap managed to gain control of the creature and quickly realized it was choking.
She then passed the agonized avian over to Guile who held it steady while Belknap reached down the pelican's throat to remove a large fish stuck there.
