U.S. State Department Officials hung Russian flag upside down, with the white stripe at the bottom, ahead of a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary Of State John Kerry to discuss who would represent the Syrian opposition in the peace talks. A Russian cameraman pointed the mistake out to U.S. officials just in time for the meeting.
