Taxpayers Warned About Terrifying IRS Scam

The U.S. Department of Treasury has issued a warning to the public about a terrifying scam where con artists posing as IRS agents call people and threaten them with jail time or deportation unless an immediate payment is made.

The agency recently issued a warning about con artists who call potential victims, pretend to be IRS agents, and make threats about possible arrest or deportation unless payments, often times for back taxes, are made. 
A pastor in North Carolina recounts his experience to CBS News, saying, “This woman gave me her name and her badge numb
