Saeed Ajmal is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a right-arm off-spin bowler who bats right handed. At domestic level in Pakistan he has represented Faisalabad, with whom he won the 2005 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup; Khan Research Laboratories; and Islamabad.

Saeed Ajmal may have problems coming back to cricket, but there was a time when this man ruled the world of cricket and named himself the best spinner in modern times. Saeed Ajmal is a class apart. He is a destructive force unmatched for any batsmen in the world.

In 2014, Saeed Ajmal played the MCC Bicentenary Celebration Match. He was part of the Marylebone cricket club and his opponents were players like Gilchrist, Pietersen, Afridi, Collingwood, Yuvraj and many other great names from international cricket.

Ajmal picked up four wickets in that game and proved his skills against some masters of the game. His first hunt was none other than the lethal Gilchrist, who gave him the charge, but a brilliant Dosra went right in between the bat and pads of Gilchrist and Reed took the bails off in a flash.

Tamim came in next for Ajmal. It was an off spinner this time that came right towards the stumps and Tamim tried to defend it on the offside failed to put his bat in it. The ball hit his pads and Ajmal made a huge appeal for an LBW and got it straight away.

Pietersen went like the same way Gilchrist played. He went down the track to Ajmal to hit him for a big shot, was completely deceived by the Dosra and Reed once again was like a flash in taking the ball and disturbing the stumps. Afridi was cleaned up on a big off spinner by Ajmal. Collingwood was lucky that his catch was dropped in the deep else it would have been 5 for Ajmal that day.
