Whether the public backlash against the actress after that moment in the press room is warranted or not is everyone’s personal opinion, but apparently fellow actress Anne Hathaway is solidly on J-Law’s side here, and even took to Facebook to publicly defend her peer in the face of such online criticism.
As THR reported, Hathaway’s post included: “Dear the Internet, It’s become pretty clear that the Jennifer Lawrence ‘scolding’ was taken out of context and that she was dryly joking with a journalist who was indeed using his phone to take photos of her."
