First majority-Muslim US city adjusts to new reality

With Donald Trump and Ben Carson calling into question the place of Islam in America, a city in Michigan shows Muslims playing a growing role in US society. Hamtramck is estimated to be the first city here with a majority-Muslim population, and it’s recently elected the first majority-Muslim city council in the country.
