Bahrain is a famous hill station, which is located in swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is 60 km North of Mingora at a height of 4600 ft along side with the swat river, from Madyan Bahrain is ten kilometers and slightly higher, at about 1,400 meters (4,500 feet). It is another popular riverside tourist resort, with bazaars worth exploring for their handicrafts. Some of the houses over there have special carved wooden doors, pillars and balconies.
People of Bahrain are professional in the cottage industry of wood carving that’s why one sees woodwork everywhere in the region. These show a remarkable variety of decorative motifs, including floral scrolls and bands of ornamental patterns almost identical to those seen on Buddhist shrines and quite different from the usual Muslim designs.
At a distance of 7 miles from Madyan, “Two waters” is the name of Bahrain history has given keeping in view the beauty and enchantment of the place. Bahrain riverside is the most attractive place, which offers a terrific view of river Daral & its merging with river swat. Daral lake is a famous lake where transcendental beauty mingles with myths.
However, Daral Lake can be accessed through different routes. Daral lake is a four-hour climbing from Bahrain, it can be accessed from Sidgai Lake towards the northeast after a two-hour trekking. Moreover, tourists reach there from Lalku valley is around six hours long trekking. Alternatively, a fourth route to lake Daral is from Gabina Jabba which is the most charming way to the lake with full of lush green meadows, divine flowers, dense forests and trickles of crystal clear water.
This is really a beautiful & stunning lake giving an exhilarating view after a rigorous climb. The lake is calm and serene but mysterious and striking.
Camping is most common in Bahrain too like many other spots in swat. Bahrain food huts are known for being open in late hours in a day serving with delicious food and variety of fish.
You don’t need to worry about where to stay in Bahrain because it has large number of hotels and restaurants to serve tourist from all over the country as well as foreign areas.
