Thanks to the power of social media, a cancer-stricken child’s wish to become famous in China has come true.

Many 8-year-olds dream of becoming astronauts and ballerinas, but one boy from Westerly, Rhode Island had a rather unique wish.
Dorian Murray, who has been battling cancer for the last 4 years, hoped to become famous on China's Great Wall.
Thanks to the power of social media, that goal has been realized.
Word of both his struggle and his desire began to receive global attention in December.
That month, his family announced Dorian’s health had further degraded and treatment would no longer be pursued.
