Around 40 cars involved in massive pile-up on US I-74 road

Footage of the aftermath of a 40 car pile-up on the I-74 on the Indiana-Ohio state line in the US.
The video, filmed on Tuesday on the snow-covered road in Indiana, shows the cars and lorries crumpled together following two separate crashes first involving nearly 30 cars and totalling 40 by the end.
According to local news reports, the incident began when a semi-truck jack knifed, leading to dozens more vehicles colliding.
The road was closed for several hours but, although six people were reportedly taken to hospital, somehow no one was seriously injured.
