Strange Balloon-Like Glass Object Emerges From Hawaii's Volcanic Event

A geologist with the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory has found a completely hollow balloon shape object which has not been seen before and was likely created after a recent volcanic event.

Volcanic activity is normal in Hawaii, but a recent event resulted in a very unique artifact. 
The U.S. Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory wrote about it in a post entitled “Early morning explosive event at Kīlauea summit lava lake.” 
Video of the volatile activity shows fragments being propelled in the air, with some believed to have traveled as much as 360 feet away.
