Setubandha Asana is Also known as Bridge Yoga Pose or Setu Bridge. It is also popularly known as the 'bridge pose' or the 'supported bridge pose' or the 'spinal-lift pose'. The name Setu Bandh asana is derived from the Sanskrit term 'Setu' which means 'bridge' or 'dam', 'bandha' means 'lock' and 'asana' means 'pose'. Yoga poses or asanas make you more aware of your body and your mind. Yoga is best described as nurturing your mind body and soul with exercises, asanas, pranayama and meditation.
