Shocking footage has emerged from China of a man throwing his workmate downstairs just because they bumped into each other by accident.

In the video, filmed in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province last Thursday, you can see Mr. Gu fighting with his work colleague and then throwing him downstairs from the first floor, leaving the victim in a coma.

According to police, Mr. Gu was drunk and reportedly acting inappropriately when his workmate bumped into him. Then, Mr. Gu allegedly hit him with a beer bottle, leading to a scuffle which resulted in the victim being thrown down the stairs.

The man's head was badly injured, and he was left in a coma. However, he is reportedly recovering, has woken up but is still in a critical condition.

According to local news reports, Mr Gu was arrested and his relatives have paid part of the victim's medical bills.
