Security Scare Doesn't Rattle German Leader Angela Merkel

It takes more than a security scare to stop the world's most powerful woman from taking care of business.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel ignored an alert outside her Berlin offices and pushed on with a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Police sealed off the area around the building after a suspicious object was spotted near its gates.
Four yellow post office boxes containing mail destined for Merkel's office were searched by experts, a federal police spokesperson told NBC News.
The German leader was in her office and chaired a pre-planned cabinet meeting amid the activity outside, officials confirmed.
Police later gave the all-clear after nothing dangerous was found.
Merkel has been dubbed "The Iron Chancellor" and has been named the world's most powerful woman by Forbes for five straight years.
Last month, TIME unveiled her as its Person of the Year.
