The confederation of All India Traders have asked Salman Khan to withdraw the name Khan Market from the his shopping portal to protect the brand name of the market that is one the expensive retail location in India.
The CAIT has urged actor to withdraw the name Khanmarketonline.com from his web portal that he announced on his birthday.
The Khan market was established in 1951 is one of the oldest, expensive retail location worldwide. It is 24th expensive place on global level.
The traders of Khan market are against Salman Khan using the term Khan Market which shall lead to confusion and misunderstanding for the consumers. It is infringing rights of traders of Khan market.
And the discounts offered by Salman Khan could confuse onsumers and many such allegations the CAIT has said that Khan market is brand itself and it is intellectual property of of the Khan Market only so Salman Khan might have to change it.
