Cat Survives Missouri Flood By Using Litter Box As Flotation Device
- 8 years ago
The Humane Society of Missouri recently rescued a cat who managed to stay high and dry after the floods by using her litter box as a flotation device.
Fenton, Missouri and nearby areas were recently hit by devastating floods, and on December 31, the Humane Society was out on a mission to save 4-legged victims trapped by the waters.
One of their rescues was a chubby cat who managed to stay high and dry by using her litter box as a floatation device.
A Disaster Response Team worker was able to guide the cat’s makeshift vessel from the back of a flooded room to a window.
He then pulled her out of the trailer, much of which was submerged in the floodwaters.
