Honduras: New Transportation Law Takes Effect

A new transportation law entered into effect in Honduras, which will theoretically improve the quality of vehicles and reorganize routes and schedules. Private transportation companies will have to improve the quality of their service to receive payment from the government. However, the new law will not resolve the serious problem of crime, which in 2015 took the lives of 30 bus company owners, drivers and passengers. Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
