A hilarious video has emerged of a defender scoring a calamitous own goal during a non-league football match in Birmingham, UK.

The footage, captured during the game between Southam Utd and Nuneaton Griff FC in October, shows the player getting his feet mixed up and aiming a wild swing at the ball, causing it to spin backwards into his own net.
