State of Palestine Recognized by Greece

During a visit to Greece, by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Greek Parliament officially recognized Palestine as a state. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that Greece will no longer be using the term “Palestinian Authority” in formal letters and transactions, but instead the term “Palestinian State.” This is good news for the Palestinian people who see more countries standing by them and recognizing their right to existence, says correspondent Noor Harazeen in her report from Gaza for teleSUR.
