Star Wars Fans Stage a Giant Lightsaber Battle

A lightsaber battle of epic proportions was fought in Los Angeles on the premier weekend of Star Wars The Force Awakens. Thousands of fans faced off in a battle of Jedi versus Sith, in an attempt to break the world record for largest lightsaber battle. There were no human fatalities in the battle, yet many lightsabers failed to survive the fray. It has not yet been confirmed if the world record was broken. Credit: YouTube/Kelly Taylor
