A young crane in Wisconsin was brought back from the brink of death by a local wildlife center, university, and wildlife rehabilitator—after ingesting byproducts of human consumption.

Birds and animals are increasingly being exposed to the dangerous byproducts of human consumption. A recent news release by University of Wisconsin-Madison details one such incident.
