The video, filmed in April this year in Mosca, Colorado, US, shows a man wearing a GoPro camera on his arm touching the reptile's tongue.
The filmer later wrote online: "Elvis is almost 12ft long and the biggest and heaviest alligator at Colorado Gator Farm in Mosca Colorado.
"I got a new forearm mount for my GoPro and wanted to show people what it looks like to touch an alligator's tongue."
