Syrian rebels score direct missile hit — but did they just take out a group of unarmed women?

ALEPPO, SYRIA — This video shows the devastating moment a missile fired by Syrian rebels connects with an unknown enemy target — sending bodies flying and survivors scurrying for cover.

The footage, purportedly filmed in Southern Aleppo, appears to show a Syrian rebel taking aim with a BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missile.

The Free Syrian Army received 500 TOW missiles in October under a CIA programme to help in their fight against President Bashar al-Assad's forces, according to the Washington Post.

It may be impossible to tell from the video, but the question here is whether the rebel-fired missile took out a legitimate enemy target or an unarmed group of women civilians.
